Full Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO/Arusha airport meet our representative & drive to your hotel in Arusha. Late our safari manager will come for detailed safari briefing & then leave you to enjoy lodge facilities before diner & overnight.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After your safari briefing, leave the hotel in Arusha town and drive on a tarmac road 130km to Lake Manyara National Park. The lake occupies a large portion of the park. The forest starts just when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley and the hot springs are located to the west of the park. The park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions as well as buffalo, giraffes, hippos, baboons, flamingos, ostriches, geese and so many more. After your picnic lunch, take off for an afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, drive to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head towards the Serengeti National Park by way of the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you’ll descend into the heart of wild Africa; into the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains rolling in the distance as far as the eye can see. Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River provides a valuable water source to this area of the park and attracts wildlife well represented by most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time to enjoy lunch and then head out for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the Seronera Campsite.

Day 3: Full day at Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River. This is a good location for spotting lions, gazelles, topis, ostriches and cheetahs. The Visitor Center, close to the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after this morning’s game drive. This nicely designed centre offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop where you can purchase information leaflets and maps of the area. In the afternoon, follow the kopjes circuit going counterclockwise around the Maasai kopjes. On this tour, you will have the chance to view more lions and some formidably large cobra. Dinner and your overnight stay are in the Seronera Camp.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Early start, if you wish 06:30 am with packed breakfast box then back to your campsite for early hot lunch before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive. Arrive at Simba Campsite for sunset watch, camping orientation, dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Your day will start at 7:00 am with a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Due to the high crater walls (2000ft), very few animals migrate in and out of the area. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, a variety of birds and many other animal species. Your driver-guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skills in locating hidden animals. After a picnic lunch and further exploration in the Ngorongoro Crater, we will drive to the Lilac Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Arusha
Breakfast at the Campsite then go for game drives at the Tarangire National Park, the third largest park in Tanzania.
The driving is along The Great Northern Highway across Masai steppe & many village all the way to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is famous for its huge Baobab trees & large elephant population, you may expect to spot heads of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers this is the paradise over 400 species of bird have been recorded here which includes the rare species of Ash Staling, Great Kudu & fringed Eared Oryx are among rare species found in Tarangire.
Predators like lion, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals & the ever-elusive leopard are also inhabit this park. Tarangire Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire Lake Manyara ecosystem which include up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and about 30,000 zebra.
Late afternoon drive out and back to Arusha City for overnight or drop off at Kilimanjaro international airport JRO for your late flight back home. (Accommodation on this day can be included upon request at extra cost.)
